I dont know how it would look like as I dont know what the error is. When you use the HANA Studio you can enable that all SQL is traced, therefore recorded, and then you would usually try the actions that failed. After that turn off the trace and look the logfiles for errors. Based on the errors you then can look whats wrong;

 

Also you can try to move this to an testserver to further debug it; Currently with the things you stated it might be a damaged common DB but it could also be something different. Only thing sure so far is that you used an import statement that is forbidden following the SAP note, and usually when SAP says you mustnt do sth. it has a reason

 

Do you have a full instance backup from prior the initial import? If yes you could restore to another HANA testsystem und then see if the correct import statement works as expected. In case it's not then you got a real problem. In case the error happens there as well you might want to file a bug to SAP as its nothing bad with the import then.
