Just letting you know I had the same issue - below is a solution that worked for me.
We did an upgrade from 1.4 to 1.6.
In 1.6 one of my customer's applications did not render (blank page).
To solve it, I opened the application in DS 1.6 (new upgraded version):
- I found the culprit component, which was a chart
- I changed it's type from "Line" to "Line Horizontal", saved and restarted design studio
- I changed it back to a "Line" chart - saved and restarted design studio
Tip: To find the culprit component, start by just deleting all charts, save and restart DS. If this solves the issue, then do the same for one chart at a time.
