Thanks for the clarification. The approach I have described will dynamically update the text box value each time a list box selection is made, rather than when all selections are made as per the Show button approach. In order to help me provide further guidance as per your requirement, please answer the following questions:
1) How are the three list boxes being populated? Do they all use the same data source, DS_2 as the data source for the text box getDataAsString() function, or are the list boxes being populated from a different data source than the text box?
2) Since you are using a Show button, I assume you are implementing a static filter with the list boxes rather than a cascading filter, is that right? What I mean by this is that you are populating the list box content only once, on start-up, with all possible values for each dimension. Is my understanding correct?
3) I notice that the Org Unit list box comes before the Company Code list box. Normally, an Org Unit is assigned to one company code. i.e. there is a one to many relationship between Company Code and Org Units. Therefore, I would have thought it makes more sense to position the Company Code list box before the Org Unit list box. Can you clarify this?
