- What are the known limitations in AO when compared to BEx Workbooks?
in the same section for user guide, there is a table provided, what BEx analyzer objects can be converted to what Analysis Office objects. You can find with "No Conversion" which does not support in analysis office
- Is there a separate security setup required for AO?
No, existing BEx securities respects in analysis office as well
- Can we access local workbooks with AO? Most of the end users have local workbooks and want to know if they can access them from AO without publishing them in menu roles
In analysis office, you can open local BEx workbooks But you cannot perform any AO operations. in order to do you need to convert your BEx workbook to Analysis Office workbook
In general, with analysis office you can save/open workbooks in locally
