I have an Information Space built on top of a UNX universe (BOBJ BI 4.1 SP5 Patch 3). Some of our date fields are stored as date/time and in the universe, I apply formatting to only display the date. This works fine for the online view of the information space. However, if I export that view to Excel (both the Excel 97-2003 and the Excel Workbook options), the date format is ignored and the dates are downloaded as date/time. Any idea on how to make the export maintain the formatting I apply in the universe?
