You did not say which audit will be conducted. Whether they check if all security measures are in place or if they audit purchasing processes and need a re-print for this check.
From my experience with audit teams, it is the best thing to keep the situation as is.
If they audit security then you have already the expected result. If they audit purchasing processes, then it is as well not bad to show them that it is not possible for the substitute to access certain documents. This finding would not hurt you, it would be addressed to the people who are responsible for authority.
